Appeal to identify illegal bikers in Risca

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 13:00, Tuesday October 12th, 2010.

Police in Risca are appealing for information to identify a group riding off-road bikes in the lanes between Swyffryd and Hafodrynys.

Residents have raised concerns with police officers about the unregistered vehicles being ridden in the Swffryd Road, Mill Court and Pont Bren areas.

The roads are public highways and all vehicles using them are required to be fully registered, licensed, taxed and insured.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who knows the people pictured or anyone who can offer information to help identify them. Gwent Police can be called on on 01633 838111.

Alternatively, residents can speak to officers at their next PACT meeting – being held at 7pm on October 29 in Crumlin Community Centre.
