New Caerphilly Council chief executive to speak to businesses

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 13:00, Thursday October 14th, 2010.

The new chief executive of Caerphilly County Borough Council will be outlining his vision to businesses at a special breakfast meeting organised by Caerphilly Business Forum on Wednesday October 20.

Anthony O’Sullivan will explain how he sees the relationship between the council and local business developing and the vital role the private sector has to play in Caerphilly County Borough.

Andrew Diplock, chairman of Caerphilly Business Forum and Commercial Director of utility and environmental consultancy UES, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to hear what the borough’s Chief Executive plans to do and an excellent chance for people in the business community to get their views across to him.

“I’m delighted that he has accepted our invitation and very encouraged that he’s taken the opportunity to engage with businesses in Caerphilly County Borough so quickly.”

The meeting – part of the regular Business Breakfast Network series held by Caerphilly Business Forum – will start at 7.30am (registration) and run from 8am to 9.30am.

Costs are £15 (inc VAT) for Forum members or £25 (inc VAT) for non-members.

To book your place email events@cbforum.co.uk with your name, company and contact details, and send payment to: Caerphilly Business Forum, Tredomen Business and Technology Centre, Tredomen Business Park, Ystrad Mynach CF82 7FN.
