British Transport Police have released these CCTV images to trace a man wanted for indecent exposure at Caerphilly train station.

Detective Inspector Mark Cleland said the incident took place on the platform between 8pm and 8.20pm on Saturday February 12.

He said: “Two teenage girls told police that a man, who they believed had been drinking, stood on the opposite platform to them and exposed his genitals.

“The man is then believed to have got on a Cardiff-bound train at around 8.20pm before getting off at Lisvane and Thornhill railway station.

“Enquiries are ongoing including viewing CCTV from stations and trains. As a result, we would like to identify and speak to the man in these photographs as we believe he will be able to assist our investigation.

“I would ask anyone who recognises the man, or who knows his current whereabouts, to contact police straight away.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident reference B6/WWA 0f 13/04/2011, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

It's "Railway Station", not "train station"!

Didn't I comment on a previous report where the caerphilly observer used the term "train station?"

Not sure why you find it necessary to use this terminology. The railways of this country managed for 175 years with Railway Stations – and now all of a sudden, you people decide that you want to change them to "train stations".

As the gentleman above points out, it is a Railway Station, not a train station.
