Cllr Ron Davies, cabinet member for regeneration and chair of the Caerffili Cwm a Mynydd Partnership said: “It’s great to see that this funding is being put to good use in the heart of our community to help promote rural businesses.
“The Caerphilly County Borough is 75% rural and we are delighted that we have committed most of our £200,000 funding allocation helping these worthwhile projects.
“I would urge rural businesses within the area that may be eligible for this grant support to get in touch and find out what we can do to help.”
The ‘Budding Businesses’ grant scheme is able to assist eligible sustainable projects that promote Caerphilly’s rural produce and industries through a mixture of capital and revenue grants.
