Tributes have been paid to a teenager who died after being rushed to hospital from St Martin’s School, Caerphilly.

Sixth former Chloe Morgan, from Machen, was taken by ambulance from St Martin’s High School on Friday February 10 but died later.

Headteacher Kerry Davies said: “Chloe was a bright and engaging young woman, she was well placed to have an excellent future ahead.

“This tragic and sudden death has left us all in shock and we know she will be missed by the whole school. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

“The school is offering support and counselling to students to help them deal with this situation during the next few weeks.”
