Update:Police reported on March 16 that Mr Lewis was found safe and well.

Police are appealing for information on a 62-year-old man who has gone missing.

Richard Lewis has been missing from his home at Ty Nant, Penyrheol, since Monday March 12.

He is described as white, 5ft 9in tall and of small build. He has blue- grey eyes and is bald with a bit of grey hair on the sides. He was last wearing brown lace up shoes, jeans and a padded green jacket.

He is known to frequent the Caerphilly and Senghenydd mountain areas. If anyone knows of his whereabouts they are asked to call Gwent Police on 101
