Blackwood Miners’ Institute is to host a free screening of movie Johnny English Reborn as part of a film festival.

Zoom Wales’ International Young People’s Film Festival takes place from Monday March 26 to Friday March 30.

On Thursday, following an action-packed day of film screenings and workshops at the ‘Stute for local schools, a free film screening of Johnny English Reborn will be showcased for all the family.

Visitors will also get to see the première of a short film made by youngsters from four schools in Caerphilly County Borough made for the Awen project – celebrating the Cultural Olympiad In Wales for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.

The Zoom Young People’s Film Festival aims to inspire audiences and young filmmakers from across Wales. Now in its sixth year, Zoom Film Festival has reached over 10,000 young people across Wales.

Festival chair John Geraint said: “Once again, the Zoom Festival combines the thrills of the big screen with the delights of films made by young people themselves. All over Wales, there are young people with stories to tell and the skills to put them on screen. Zoom is all about celebrating that and building on it.”

To book your free tickets for the 7pm showing of Johnny English Reborn at Blackwood Miners’ Institute please call the box office on 01495 227 206.
