Environment Agency Wales is warning of possible localised flooding across large parts of South Wales over the next 24 hours.
The Flood Forecasting Centre has forecast persistent rain overnight and into tomorrow morning with some particularly heavy showers.
The heavy showers will continue during lunchtime and into the afternoon which may well lead to an increased risk of localised flooding in urban and rural areas.
There is a also a possibility of water on road surfaces and flooding from drains and small streams during the next 24 hours.
Although river levels have responded to recent rainfall they are not expected to rise to levels that would cause flooding, however there is concern of flooding from blocked drains and surface water systems.
The Agency is advising people to listen to local weather and traffic reports and updates on the radio or TV, or if able to, view the latest information on the Met Office website.
Care should be taken as driving conditions may be hazardous, and people should listen to traffic reports for advice and for any disruption locally.
