Well what a boost to our fair County Caerffili. I was really surprised to hear this news but elated by the fact that two massive world stage events are again to be staged in Caerffili. Spread the word that Caerffili is becoming the thorn in the side of Cardiff by putting on such spectacular programme of family orientated cultural events throughout the year that everyone can enjoy. It certainly helps to brighten my diary:-)

I also understand the the finish of the Caerphilly stage of the tour will be even tougher than last year with riders having to climb (and decend)Caerphilly Mountain twice before the lung bursting sprint for the finishing line.
Once again we will have the opportunity to see some of the greatest riders in the world up close as they flas past.
    Bring it on

Excellent news, last year's event was astounding, the filming of the route in from Merthyr saw Caerphilly Borough for what it is, a beautiful area. My neighbour was watching in the town and struck up a conversation with a lady from England. She was amazed how friendly the people were and that everyone 'spoke' to each other.
