Gwent Police is appealing for information following two burglaies in Caerphilly and Llanbradach.

The first was a forced entry into a property on Corbetts Lane, Caerphilly which happened between 1.30pm and 2.20pm on Friday August 3.

Pieces of jewellery were stolen including a gold locket and a gold gentleman’s signet ring.

The second burglary happened on Monday August 6 between 11.40am and 4pm at a house on Wingfield Crescent, Llanbradach.

Items stolen included a clock, some cash and a jewellery box. Police say access was gained through an “insecurity” and have reminded house owners to secure all doors and windows and not to leave keys in door locks or valuable items on view.
