Vulnerable people from black and ethnic minority communities are being offered help and support through charity BAWSO.
The support services include assistance and advice on: domestic violence and other forms of abuse, housing benefit issues, resettlement support, employment advice, moving home, welfare benefit advice, dispute with neighbours, completing forms, language support, housing repairs, life skills, budgeting and volunteering opportunities.
Mariam Elmirghani, BAWSO regional manager South East Wales, said: “BAWSO was established in 1995 and is a Welsh Government Accredited Support Provider delivering specialist services to BME communities through 25 projects, supporting over 2,000 people every year in Wales.
“We have a proud record of working in the Gwent area and I am delighted that we are able to extend our advice and information services to Caerphilly and offer support to people in vulnerable situations.”
