Gwent Police is appealing for information following three recent burglaries in the Blackwood, Bargoed and Oakdale areas.

At approximately 2am on Wednesday September 5, a burglary occurred at a property on Ty-isha Terrace in Blackwood. Access was gained through an unsecured window. A set of keys were stolen.

Between 1.15pm and 3pm on Friday September 7, a property on Heolddu Road, Bargoed was broken into. Forced entry was made and items stolen included two wedding rings and a St Christopher necklace.

In the early hours of Saturday September 8, an attempted burglary was reported on Underwood Road, Oakdale. Forced entry was attempted but was not successful. A red Suzuki Swift sports style three-door vehicle with blacked-out windows was seen in the area at the time.

Police are investigating all three incidents and would appeal for anyone with information relating to them to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
