The 20-year-old man killed in a Rhiwderinon car crash on the A468, Bassaleg to Machen Road has been named as Samuel John Bailey from Graig-Y-Rhacca .
The accident happened at 9.25pm on Tuesday and involved a green Citroen Saxo and a silver Ford Ka.
Another man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as not being life-threatening and he is in a stable condition.
