Islwyn’s Labour MP Chris Evans has urged youngsters to join their local Scout group.
After visiting the Abercarn scout group in their very own scout hut, Mr Evans is urging all young people in Islwyn to join their local Scouts and learn a whole new range of skills.
He said: “Scouting is about a lot more than knot tying and camping, it is also a great way for young people to gain a whole range of skills and experiences.
“There are almost half a million young people involved in scouting throughout the UK and it is a fantastic way to get involved in the local community.”
