Police appeal after burglaries in Gilfach, Pengam and Ystrad Mynach

Gwent Police is appealing for information following three burglaries which happened in the Caerphilly County Borough area.

Two occurred in the daytime on Thursday November 8.

Forced entry was made into a property on The Close, Gilfach. Items stolen included gaming consoles, Nintendo DS games, a small amount of cash and a leather wallet.

Entry was made through an unsecured door at a property on Salway Avenue, Pengam. A small amount of cash was stolen.

The third burglary occurred in the daytime on Wednesday 14th November. Forced entry was gained at a property on Brynmynach Avenue, Ystrad Mynach. Cash was stolen.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in these areas is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
