Business owners can call in to Rhymney Library between 10am and 12noon on Thursday January 17 or the White Rose Centre, New Tredegar between 1pm and 3pm the same day to find out whether their business idea or project is eligible for funding support. All business sectors can be considered for support ranging from help with purchasing new equipment through to help with starting a new business.

Cllr Ken James, cabinet member for regeneration at Caerphilly COunty Borough Council, said: “We want our businesses to get a head start this New Year with their growth and expansion plans – they could benefit from up to 50% eligible project costs to a maximum of £2,000. These free events are an ideal opportunity for businesses located in the Heads of the Valleys area of Caerphilly county borough to meet the Business Enterprise Support Team and find out whether their business project is eligible for funding support.”

The Heads of the Valleys Business Seed Capital Fund is only available to businesses and business start-ups that are located in the Heads of the Valleys area of Caerphilly County Borough.
