Homelessness and domestic abuse charity Llamau has been awarded a bursary from the National Gardens Scheme.
The bursary, called the Elspeth Thompson Award, will provide the charity with gardening equipment to enable it to complete a garden at a housing project for vulnerable and homeless youngsters.
Llamau’s Chief Executive Frances Beecher said: “With spring coming, this provides us with the perfect opportunity to get the garden looking great and provide our young people with the opportunity to learn a new skill.
“We are thrilled that the National Garden Scheme has chosen our project for this bursary and would like to extend a huge Llamau thank you to them.”
