Help needed to produce TV film in Senghenydd

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 17:00, Wednesday May 15th, 2013.

Villagers in Senghenydd have been invited to take part in the production of a new short film.

As part of a project by S4C and BBC Wales, production company It’s My Shout will be visiting Senghenydd in July to shoot the community-based film – and residents have the chance to help shape it.

The film will be shown on television in November as part of the Made In Wales TV series.

The production company is holding a meeting for residents eager to get involved on Thursday May 16 at 5pm at Senghenydd Community Centre.

Community members will get the chance to work with a screenwriter to develop ideas for the film at workshops, as well as work alongside industry professionals to act in and crew the production across three days of filming this July.

  • Anyone who wants to find out more should go along to a meeting at the Senghenydd Community Centre CF83 4HA on Thursday May 16 at 5pm, to meet the team.
