A convicted burglar who was wanted for a breach of his licence conditions has been returned to prison.
Dafydd Merkel, aged 27, was released from prison in May this year and was serving a 45 month sentence for burglary. He was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court in November 2011.
Police had made an appeal for his whereabouts after revealing he had links in Blackwood, Senghenydd, Caerphilly and Risca.
