Motorists have been warned not to drink and drive as the four Welsh police forces launch their summer crackdown.
Throughout the month-long campaign officers across Wales will be stopping motorists more frequently to catch drink and drug drivers.
Inspector Lee Ford, from Gwent Police, said: “The summer months bring lots of opportunity to socialise, whether that be in beer gardens or at the BBQs of family or friends.
“We urge people intending to have a drink to enjoy themselves but not at the risk of their own, or the safety of others. Stay safe and legal by making transport arrangements to get home ahead of time.
“Throughout June officers will be using intelligence-led policing and increasing highway patrols to target offenders who drink or take drugs before getting behind the wheel.”
The All Wales Summer Anti Drink/Drug Driving Campaign will run until Thursday June 30.
