A woman was rescued from the River Rhymney in Ystrad Mynach by firefighters.
Eight crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service used three ladders to save the woman from the river near Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr.
Crews from Cefn Fforest, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Malpas and Barry were called to the incident at 4.30pm on Thursday.
