Seven communities in Caerphilly County Borough are set to be the latest to get high speed broadband as part of a government programme.
Crosskeys, Machen, Nelson, Rhymney, Risca, Senghenydd and Ynysddu will have access to fibre optic broadband by spring 2015 as part of Superfast Cymru – a project by the Welsh Government and telecommunications firm BT.
Ken Skates, Minister for Skills and Innovation, said: “The dedication of the Superfast Cymru programme is clearly illustrated through our commitment to delivering superfast fibre broadband across Wales.
“It is a significant step forward that we are providing our long term plans on our website to help individuals and businesses find out when they will be able to discover the benefits of superfast fibrebroadband.”
