News | Richard Gurner | Published: 17:00, Friday October 11th, 2013.

A Llanbradach woman has donated her hair to a charity which makes wigs for cancer patients.

Emma-Louise Maher (pictured) had her 14 inch locks cut off for the Little Princess Trust to make a wig. She also fundraising to meet the £350 cost of the wig.

Emma-Louise said: “My gran had cancer and lost her hair, which resulted in her having a wig. Losing your hair must be really hard to deal with on top of everything else that people with cancer have to overcome so I wanted to help in some way.

“It is a great charity and I hope to raise awareness too.”
