Gwent Police are appealing for information regarding two incidents of arson which took place on Pontygwindy Road and Dol Y Felin Street, in Caerphilly.
During the early hours of Wednesday October 9, a resident living on Pontygwindy Road was woken by her dog barking at the back door. Looking outside the resident saw the shed in the rear garden on fire.
It is believed that the fire was started deliberately in a wheelie bin inside the shed. The fire also caused damage to a parked Volkswagen vehicle.
A residential garage in Dol Y Felin Street, used as storage was also located alight.
