12 Caerphilly County Borough community groups in running for Lloyds Bank grant award

Twelve community groups from Caerphilly County Borough have been shortlisted for a Lloyds Bank grant award.

The 12 organisations have been entered into a public vote to secure a slice of the Lloyds Bank Community Fund.

The two good causes with the most votes in each sub-area will each receive £3,000, with the other two receiving awards of £300 each.

The twelve community groups shortlisted from Caerphilly are:

Blackwood
Cry in the Valleys in Memory of Jack Thomas
Cancercareline – Blackwood
Cylch Meithrin Coed Duon
Caerphilly People First

Caerphilly
CELTS Wheelchair Basketball Club
Hendre After School Club
Cardiff and Newport SANDS
Graig Y Rhacca Football Club

Caerphilly East
Save Cwmcarn High School
Pontymister Youth AFC
Sparkle Appeal (SGCF)
Cwmcarn Allotment Association

Community Fund 2013 voting is open until 11:59pm on November 1.
