Motorists are being warned after a spate of fuel thefts from vehicles in the Caerphilly town area.
Police have said Ford, Fiat and Volkswagon vans have been targeted along with Ford Fiesta cars. The Energlyn area, Lansbury Park and Bartlett Street in the town centre are the areas most recently targeted.
Fuel is often siphoned out when it is stolen from vehicles, but, according to police, it has been known for thieves to drill the fuel tank.
Police have said motorists should try and park in a well-lit area.
Residents can report suspicious activity by calling Gwent Police on 01633 838111.
