Gwent Police will record every Halloween related report it receives via Twitter.
The nine-hour Twitter takeover on October 31 will give Gwent Police social media followers a taste of the type of calls the force receives through 999 and its 101 numbers.
From 3pm to 6pm the force will be tweeting a behind the scenes look at how things work in it communications suites on one of the busiest nights of the year for police.
Then from 6pm, the force will be tweeting live all Halloween related incidents of crime and antisocial behaviour as they are reported up until midnight.
You can follow all of the action by following #accessallareas and #whougonnacall on Twitter.
You don’t have to be signed up to Twitter to be a part of the action. You can also view the tweets at www.twitter.com/gwentpolice.
Updates will also be posted to Gwent Police’s Facebook page.
Visitors do not need an account to view the public page at www.facebook.com/gwentpolice.
The force has previously carried out similar social media stunts.
