School pupils and residents have worked together to plant hundreds of daffodil bulbs in Woodfieldside.
The pupils from Pontllanfraith Primary School worked together with residents and Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Tidy Towns Team to plant hundreds of the flower bulbs to spruce up the area.
Councillor Dave Poole said: “This activity is an excellent example of different generations working together to help make their local environment a better place.
“All those involved should be very proud of their efforts and I look forward to the spring.”
