Parents and carers invited to council event in New Tredegar

News | Richard Gurner | Published: 13:00, Tuesday November 5th, 2013.

Parents and Child Care Providers in Caerphilly County Borough have been invited to an event focused on families.

The Parent PlaNet day will be held at White Rose Resource Centre, in New Tredegar, on November 15 from 9.30am until 1pm and aims to ensure parents and child care provider’s views are included in the planning and provision of childcare service in Caerphilly County Borough Council.

The event will also include helpful advice and information including workshops on how the welfare reform will affect families, new consultations and projects and a presentation on the Youth Forum’s priorities for 2013/14.

Crèche and transport facilities can be provided upon request to enable as many parents as possible to attend and give their views.

The Parent Network will also be gathering views about the provision of Welsh Language education across Caerphilly County Borough.

Anyone who would like to attend needs to book their place and request childcare or transport before November 12th 2013.
To book a place at the event or for more information please contact Michelle Jones on:
