Two new school clubs have been launched to help bridge the generation gap between pupils and older people.
The intergenerational clubs have been launched at Bryn Awel Primary School in Rhymney and St Cenydd School in Trecenydd.
Primary school pupils were joined last month by residents from Min y Mynydd Residential Home and Mayor Cllr Michael Gray to launch the new club. St Cenydd’s club was launched in October.
Intergenerational clubs have now been launched in several schools and are funded by the Safer Caerphilly Community Safety Partnership.
