Trading Standards are warning people to be on their guard against fake electrical goods.
The warning comes after a number of counterfeit iPhone mobile phones and Stihl chainsaws were seized in Torfaen recently.
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Trading Standards believe similar products could be on sale in its area.
Cllr David Poole said: “If an offer or deal looks too good to be true, then it probably is.
“If residents are in any doubt, I would urge them to get in touch with our Trading Standards team for advice.”
