Caerphilly Council bin collection dates for Christmas 2013

Caerphilly County Borough Council has said its waste and recycling collection days will change slightly over Christmas and the New Year.

Collections due to take place on Monday December 23 and Christmas Eve will remain unchanged. Collections due on Christmas Day will be changed to Boxing Day. Collections due on Boxing Day will switch to Friday December 27 and pickups due to take place on Friday December 27 will be moved to the following day, Saturday December 28.

Collections due to take place on Monday 30th December and New Year’s Eve will remain the same.

Waste and recycling collections due to take place on New Year’s Day will be carried out on Thursday January 2, collections originally scheduled for Thursday January 2 will take place on Friday January 3, and the Friday January 3 pickup will now be carried out on the revised Saturday January 4.

Local civic amenity sites will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Public conveniences will also be closed on these days.
