The body of missing 21-year-old man Rhys Trimby, from Swffryd, has been found in the Sirhowy River at an industrial estate.

Mr Trimby had been for a night out in Harleys in Oakdale and was last seen there at 10.40pm on Friday December 20 when he left, saying he was visiting friends in Blackwood.

His body was discovered on Sunday December 29 at around 1.45pm in the Sirhowy River at the Nine Mile Point Industrial Estate in Cwmfelinfach.
