Man attacked on The Crescent in Treceynydd

Police are appealing for information after a 35-year-old man was assaulted on The Crescent Treceynydd in the early hours of Friday January 10th.

The attack happened at about 2am. It is believed the man was assaulted by four men who made off down The Crescent in the direction of the Snooker Hall and passed the old 49 Club.

A police spokeswoman said the man did not suffer serious injuries and was not taken to hospital.

If anybody witnessed the incident they are asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 41 10/01/2014.
