Lewis School Pengam’s Intergenerational Group up for award

A school project that brings local school children and older people together has earned a nomination for a national award.

Lewis School Pengam’s Intergenerational Group is up for the Local Delivery Award in the national Age Cymru Awards.
Charity Age Cymru presents its awards each year to groups or people who have a made an outstanding contribution to older people’s lives.

Commenting on the nomination, Age Cymru’s Chief Executive Ian Thomas said: “I’d like to congratulate the Lewis School Pengam Intergenerational Group on their nomination and wish them the best of luck in their category.”

Age Cymru will be announcing the winner of the Age Cymru Awards at its Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Cardiff Hilton on February 28.
