Members from the Inner Wheel Club of Machen have collected three wheelbarrrows full of donations for Caerphilly food bank.
The three wheelbarrows will soon be wheeled to the food bank with the empty wheelbarrows then donated to Machen Primary School, Graig y Rhacca Primary School and Rhydri Primary School.

Catrin Rowlands, a member of Machen Inner Wheel, said: “The three wheelbarrows were bought for the three schools where they will have fun and pleasure gardening in the spring – if the weather improves.”

Machen’s donation is part of the association’s 90th anniversary celebrations. Inner Wheel is the female side of the Rotary Club.
