Body found near Lansbury Park, Caerphilly

The body of a 21-year-old woman was found in woodland near Lansbury Park, Caerphilly.

Police said they were called at around 4.45pm on Wednesday March 12 to an area opposite St Helen’s R C Primary School.

A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: “Gwent Police was called at approximately 4.45pm yesterday to reports of a woman’s body having been discovered in woodland above the Lansbury Park area of Caerphilly.

“Officers and colleagues from the ambulance Service attended the scene and discovered the body, believed to be a 21 year old woman from the Caerphilly area.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and next of kin and the coroner have been informed.”

    why is it that such a large number of caerphilly residents walk around in liverpool shirts?I find it so sad that these people evidently have no sense of pride in their town or country,no loyalty,no sense of community spirit,choosing instead to bask in reflected glory through a club with which they have no connection in the mistaken belief that any success will reflect on themselves.If we dont support our local teams then its a sad reflection on our populace.Glory hunters hang your heads in shame on saturday,whatever the result,true fans are the moral victors
