Police have warned residents of a euro millions lottery scam where letters are falsely telling people they have won a cash prize.
The letters look official and claim to be from the Euro Millions Lottery Fund but are not connected with the official Euro Millions.
Gwent Neighbourhood Watch said not to respond to the letter to receive the winnings offered and not to give out your bank details.
They added that a legitimate organisation would not ask for bank details in this way and said anyone who believes they are the target of a scam should contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
