A 94-year-old man has died following a house fire in Heol Y Pia, Caerphilly.
Neighbours rescued the man from the Bungalow and were attempting to extinguish the fire when emergency services attended at around 7.30pm on March 19.
Paramedics took the man to the University of Wales Hospital Cardiff where he died a short time later.
A joint investigation by South Wales Fire Service and Gwent Police into the cause of the fire is underway.
