Firefighters attended two deliberate grass fires in Cefn Hengoed in the space of two days.
Two crews from Cefn Fforest and one from Bargoed extinguished a three acre fire near Penybryn on March 16.
Emergency services received a call shortly after 6.15pm and had put the fire out by 7.40pm.
On March 17 four hectares of mountainside was destroyed by fire near Lansbury Avenue, Cefn Hengoed with two crews from Cefn Fforest attended just after 12.15pm with the fire out by 2.40pm.
