Nine brand new CCTV cameras have been installed by Caerphilly County Borough Council in Ystrad Mynach and on the Maesycwmmer Viaduct, replacing ones originally installed in 2001.
The new cameras have 360 degree panning ability, as well as high quality imaging which allows CCTV operators to maintain the highest standard of monitoring.
The new CCTV cameras follows the installation of 40 similar ones in Blackwood, Bargoed, Newbridge and Abertridwr last year.
The council has said the new cameras demonstrates a commitment to keep residents safe.
