Caerphilly firefighters put their own twist on a recent internet craze which has raised £8 million for Cancer Research UK.
Women have been posting up pictures of themselves, or ‘selfies’, with no make-up encouraging others to donate money to charity.
Crews at Caerphilly Fire Station instead donned make-up and took pictures of themselves last weekend.
Firefighter, Sharon Mock said: “One of our colleagues recently finished treatment for testicular cancer and also one of our retired members is being treated for the disease. It was a firm decision that the boys wanted to join in.”
