News | Richard Gurner | Published: 14:00, Monday April 7th, 2014.

Two newly modernised Post Offices have been officially opened.

Ystrad Mynach Post Office, in Penallta Road, has been refitted while Cefn Hengoed Post Office has moved into Magnum Stores in Hengoed Avenue.

The revamped Post Offices were opened by Labour Caerphilly AM Jeff Cuthbert and Labour Caerphilly MP Wayne David.

John Hobbs, who runs Magnum Stores in Cefn Hengoed with his mother Lynn said: “Magnum Stores has been in the family for 30 years and the Post Office is a great addition, both for us and our customers.

“We’ve had some good feedback from customers so far and I’d like to thank them for their support.”
