A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion being in possession of a knife after an incident at a doctor’s surgery.
Police said they were called to Ton-Y-Felin Medical Centre, on Bedwas Road, at around 4.30pm on Thursday May 29.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We were called to Ton-Y-Felin Medical Centre at approximately 4.30pm on May 29, following concerns being reported about the behaviour of a woman.
“Officers attended and a 47-year-old woman from Caerphilly was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
“She has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries. A knife was recovered by police.
“No one was harmed as a result of the incident and it was brought to a safe and peaceful conclusion.”
