One hospitalised after three car crash on Abertridwr High Street

A person has been taken to hospital after being removed from their vehicle following a three car crash on High Street, Abertridw.

The collision took place at 8.30am this morning, June 25, and two other casualties were treated by paramedics at the scene.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said the crash has caused disruption to traffic in the area but they did not expect serious injuries.

Crews from Pontypridd & Caerphilly in att at RTC involving 3 vehicles at High St Abertridwr, please avoid the area if poss #SWControl KA

Fire crews from Pontypridd and Caerphilly were also at the scene and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service advised the public to avoid the area if possible.
