Two teenage girls who reportedly plotted to murder a teacher at Cwmcarn High School have been re-bailed by Gwent Police.
A 14-year-old girl from Risca and a 15-year-old girl from Newbridge were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder following an incident at the school on May 1 this year. It was claimed maths teacher Alison Cray had been the target of the plot.
The teenagers have answered bail and were released until August 14 pending further inquiries.
Both have been excluded from the school.
