Five released on police bail in drug and money laundering probe after raids in Caerphilly and Abertridwr

Five people from the Caerphilly and Abertridwr areas arrested after a series of raids yesterday have been released on police bail pending further inquires.

Four warrants were executed by Gwent Police officers under the misuse of drugs act on Tuesday 29th July, three in the Caerphilly area and one in Abertridwr.

The five people, two 25-year old men, a 23-year-old man and two women aged 24 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing and money laundering.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with any concerns about illegal drugs and criminal activity or any information that could help police is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
