Boy, 16, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men stabbed in Blackwood

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were stabbed in Blackwood.

The arrested teen is in police custody after an incident on Bryn Road and Apollo Way, in Blackwood, on Friday August 1 at 11.15pm.

The two injured men, both from the Blackwood area, remain in hospital receiving treatment for stab wounds.

The 16-year-old, also from Blackwood, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and wounding.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, which may have started earlier in the evening around the Stone House Public House, is asked to ring 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 507 01/08/14.
