Wanted Aberbargoed man arrested and returned to prison

An Aberbargoed man wanted for breaching his prison release licence has been arrested by police.

Anthony Foley, 25, was released from prison on March 10 this year and was serving a one year six-month prison sentence for assault occasioning ABH after being convicted on May 28 last year.

Last month Gwent Police issued an appeal for information to find Foley. He has now been returned to prison.

Keiron Card, 19, from Rhymney and Tyler Cook, 19, from Argoed, who were also wanted for breaching their release licence were arrested last month.

Card was serving a two year prison sentence for burglary after being convicted on May 8 last year and was released on licence on March 14 this year.

Cook was serving a two and a half year sentence for robbery after being convicted in July 2013 and was released from HMP Parc Prison Bridgend in May 2014.
