Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 35-year-old Risca man.
Stephen Lambert was found stabbed in Risca.
The man was found by police and ambulance crews when they were called to Twmbarlwm Close at around 8.45pm on Wednesday, August 27.
He later died at Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
Raymond Ball, 33 and Gavin Harris, 28, both from the Risca area, appeared before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Sunday August 31.
The pair are due to appear at Cardiff Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on November 14.
Both are remanded in custody.
